Named for the gods’ banker.

Independent, long-term investment research: essays, a written-down framework and free tools, built on Charlie Munger’s way of thinking.

The name

Kubera, in Hindu mythology, keeps the gods’ treasury and lends even to the gods. Kuberin, his descendant, carries on the idea: guard wealth, lend it wisely, and give it time to compound.

How we think

Student of Munger

Clear thinking, behavioral discipline and rational decisions. Munger’s latticework of mental models, his habit of inverting every problem, and his patience to wait for the rare obvious bet, applied through four pillars: moat, management, margin and momentum.

First principles

Problems broken down to their foundations and rebuilt from what is known to be true, not from what the crowd assumes. Physics, biology, economics, psychology and technology each offer a lens for spotting transformational companies early.

Multibaggers

Early conviction in paradigm-shifting companies like Tesla and SpaceX, held through volatility long enough for the exponential curve to do its work. A few great holdings, owned for years, can matter more than everything else combined.

A marathon, not a sprint. Let’s compound together.
